With Appbot, you can easily identify and analyze which languages your app reviews are in, so you can easily see at a glance which languages are most commonly used in your app reviews. This can be done by using our “Languages” tool found in the left hand menu.
Identifying which languages are most prominent in your reviews is useful for determining untapped market opportunities and also useful to see if there is a problem one market/language in particular is experiencing more than the rest
Using The App Store Language Tool
At the top of the page, you can apply filters to only analyze the app store language of reviews from a particular time period, from a particular country or that are particular star ratings.
Hovering over a point on the map will show you a breakdown of how many reviews came from each selected country on the legend below, so you can see at a glance which languages contribute the largest volume of your reviews.
Clicking on any of the languages in the legend below the chart will turn them on/off on the graph above.
Below, you will see a table showing you statistics for every app store language your reviews are in (for the filters you set at the top). Here you can easily see the average rating, sentiment breakdown, volume and trend for each language!
*Tip: If one market in particular is experiencing an issue with your app, you’ll notice it clearly here by looking at the positive to negative sentiment ratio. In the example below, most are 50/50, except Japanese which is mostly negative!
You can also click into any of the languages from this table to see a list of the reviews that are for that language.
