You can delete reviews from your Reviews page if you no longer want them to appear in Appbot. Common reasons for deleting a review include removing test reviews, duplicate reviews, or reviews that are no longer relevant to your analysis.
Note: Deleting a review from Appbot does not delete it from the Apple App Store or Google Play. The original review remains published in the app store and is not affected. If you would like an app review removed from the app store you need to report it.
Before you begin
You can only delete an app review from Appbot if you’ve connected the corresponding developer account for that app.
- Apple App Store: Connect your App Store Connect account.
- Google Play: Connect your Google Play Console account.
Delete a review
- Open the Reviews page.
- Find the review you want to remove.
- Click the ⋮ (More actions) menu for the review.
- Select Delete Review.
- Confirm that you want to delete the review.
Restore a Deleted App Review
To restore a deleted review:
- Select the Include deleted reviews in the filter on the right.
- Click the ⋮ (More actions) menu for the review.
- Select Undo Delete
- The app review will be restored to the Reviews page.

What happens when you delete a review?
Deleting a review from Appbot:
- Removes the review from your Appbot account.
- Removes the review from Appbot dashboards, reports, filters, Topics, Custom Topics, sentiment analysis, Ask Appbot, and the Appbot MCP.
- Does not delete the review from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Does not affect the review visible to customers in the app store.
Can I restore a deleted review?
Yes. The deleted review is removed from the Review page. However, it is not permanently deleted.
Why can’t I see the Delete Review option?
The Delete Review option is only available if the app is connected to the corresponding developer account. Check the app developer accounts connected to your Appbot account on the Link App Stores page.
