Adding Apps & Sources to your Appbot account

Appbot allows you to analyze many different sources of customer feedback. We call these different sources of feedback ‘Sources’. The most popular Sources our users connect to Appbot are:

  • app reviews
  • support tickets
  • NPS responses
  • social media.

How to add a new App or Source

  1. To add a new mobile app or customer feedback source, navigate to the Manage Sources tab from the top and left navigation. Click ‘Add New Source’ in the top right corner.
  2. Choose which type of source you want to add. In this example, we’ll add an iOS app.
  3. Type your app’s name first, then tell us which country you’d like to search for. Simply hit the blue ‘Search’ button and we’ll hunt down your app:
  4. Once we have found your app you can add it by pressing the blue ‘Add Source’ button. Click the ‘Add All By Publisher’ button if you want to track all the apps made by that particular publisher.

Whenever you add a new source, we will dispatch our bots to go and grab your reviews, survey responses, support tickets etc. The bots are pretty quick but if you have a large amount of historical data sometimes you’ll have to allow an hour or so for all your data to be collected.

Repeat the process until you’ve added all the apps and other sources you want to track, and remember to add your competitor’s apps too!

If you can’t find an app or product you’re looking for…

Adding Your Team’s Apps to Your Account

If you’ve joined an existing team on Appbot, you probably want to track at least some of the same apps as your team mates. To do this, select a team member from the top of the Team Sources table. Then press on ‘Add To My Sources’ next to the apps you want to track. You can also add all of the apps in the list to your collection of tracked apps by pressing the blue ‘Add All To My Sources’ button at the top of the list.

By default, your Team Leader’s sources will be selected from the dropdown. However, you can change it to view the sources of one of your team members, or to view the sources from your whole team. To view all your team’s sources, simply change the drop-down menu to ‘All Team Members’.
